Access Management Engineer

We are currently seeking an Access Management Engineer for a global technology company. This is an exciting contract opportunity based in Austin, TX (Hybrid) with a minimum duration of 12 months.

As an Access Management Engineer, you’ll join a forward-thinking team responsible for supporting identity and access management solutions for both internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in driving the success of the company’s identity management infrastructure and collaborate closely with technical teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard applications to the company’s Identity Management (IdM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) stack.
  • Develop and implement test automations to validate IdM sync mappings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define roadmaps, designs, and implementation expectations.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams in India on IGA implementation and validate deliverables.
  • Participate in technical discussions and collaborate with architects and leads to execute detailed implementation plans.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with 4-5 years specializing in Identity Management (IdM) or Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).
  • Proficiency in Java, C++, Node.js, and React.js.
  • Strong experience deploying, configuring, and customizing IdM/IGA solutions.
  • Familiarity with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and access management protocols like OIDC, OAuth2, and FIDO.
  • In-depth knowledge of RBAC, scope-claim-based access, and policy-based access control.
  • Exposure to CI/CD practices and testing automation frameworks.
