Applications Engineer

In this role you will be tasked with preparing quotes, concept drawings and cost data, and processing customer purchase orders. You will also be responsible for performing routine site visits with representatives and distributors, and consistently managing relationships among new and existing customers. As an Applications Engineer you will also be the subject matter expert when it comes to the client's product line to ensure that order turn into successful projects.

This is a contract to possible permanent role that is a long term need for my client. This position does require travel, approximately twice a month for 2-3 days at a time.

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering
• 2 years of experience as an applications engineer or sales experience is required
• Machinery installation experience is highly preferred
• Welding knowledge is a plus
