Job Title: Ansible Automation Engineer
Location: Irving TX; Charlotte NC; Chandler AZ; Iselin NJ or Columbus OH
Term: 24 Month W2 Contract (Cannot work Corp to Corp)

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ansible Automation Engineer with a strong background in networking and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automating infrastructure processes using Ansible, coupled with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and automation testing. This role requires a technical expert who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automated solutions that enhance our server infrastructure and networking environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Ansible playbooks to automate server infrastructure and networking tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful automation of processes.
- Maintain and improve existing automation scripts and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Work closely with Agile teams, utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence to track project progress and manage tasks.
- Perform automation testing to ensure quality and performance of automated processes.
- Utilize Jenkins for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) to streamline automation workflows.
- Support and troubleshoot issues related to networking and server infrastructure on UNIX and Linux platforms.
- Apply best practices in network security, including DDOS protection, Proxy/SASE, Guest Wi-Fi, CDN management, Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, DNS/DHCP, and VPN technologies.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with Agile Project Management tools (Jira and Confluence).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with automation using Ansible.
- 4+ years of experience in networking, including a deep understanding of network protocols and infrastructure.
- 4+ years of experience with server infrastructure, specifically on UNIX and Linux platforms.
- Proficient in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proficient in automation testing and quality assurance.
- Proficient in using Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of advanced internet and security technologies, including:
- DDOS mitigation techniques.
- Proxy/SASE solutions.
- Guest Wi-Fi implementation and management.
- Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
- Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) configurations.
- DNS/DHCP management.
- VPN setup and management.
