🌱 HEMAV is a technological start-up that offers data analysis applying Artificial Intelligence to the agrifood industry with the purpose of generating more food with less environmental impact.

🌾🛰️HEMAV has built LAYERS, a unique system based on Artificial Intelligence using satellite technology and other data (drone, meteo, soil, etc.) to provide information and knowledge to the agriculture sector helping them to save seeds, water, fertilizers and chemicals.

💚 HEMAV is currently composed by a team of around 35 persons based in Spain, Mexico and the USA. HEMAV has around 40 regional partners distributed between more than 15 countries in Europe, America and Africa with main focus in Brazil, and serves more than 5.000 users.

📊 LAYERS, our software, offers to the agrisector analytics to improve efficiency in the treatments (sowing, fertilization, irrigation, etc.) and generate estimations in yield (tonnes per hectare) and quality (e.g. soybeans protein quantity) in different crops. Producers, agroindustry, insurance and traders in the agronomical sector are facing three main challenges with direct and significant impact in gross margin and in the environmental impact:

· Production yield and logistics

· Economical yield

👾 The LAYERS Product Team is the principal area of the company, where 11 persons are distributed in three squads: QA-Tooling, Agronomy and UX/UI. Three-four weeks sprints are combined with sprint demos where all the company is updated with the news in the product by all the members of the product team.
