Electrical Engineer

Our client, in the Utilities is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Tulsa, OK (Hybrid) -OR- Corpus Christi, TX (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $41/hr

What’s the Job?

• Technical Expertise: Apply advanced knowledge and analytical techniques to solve complex problems and perform thorough analyses. You will understand the interrelationships between systems and components and recommend improvements to business processes.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and coordinate work activities within the team, department, or other corporate entities to ensure successful project execution. You will ensure that all work aligns with company policies, standards, and practices.
• Planning and Organization: Provide input to forecast costs for routine projects, improvement requisitions, and other initiatives, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• Problem Solving and Initiative: Identify and resolve routine to moderately complex problems, often requiring additional clarification before analysis. You will proactively seek out opportunities and embrace innovative ideas and approaches.
• Communication Skills: Effectively coordinate with other engineers to ensure efficient and effective teamwork.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform assignments and apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to achieve project goals.

What’s Needed?

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required. A Master's or Doctorate degree in engineering may be considered for entry at this level.
• Experience: 2 or more years of relevant engineering experience.
• Alternative Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state, or a Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree in engineering from a university with an ABET-accredited Bachelor's program.
