Job Description:

A leading geotechnical engineering firm specializing in commercial development is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Project Manager. This firm is committed to delivering top-tier services in geotechnical investigation, engineering, and inspection for mid-sized private sector projects including warehouses, strip malls, restaurants, and big box retail developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of geotechnical engineering projects, including field investigation, laboratory analyses, and construction phase inspection and consultation.
• Evaluate and calculate geotechnical parameters, assess foundation types, and determine design parameters.
• Lead the preparation of detailed technical reports and proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Engage in client interactions, proposal preparation, and regulatory negotiations, maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Provide leadership and direction to the project team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in geotechnical engineering.
• Proficient in managing mid-sized private sector development projects.
• Excellent skills in technical writing, communication, and client interaction.
• Demonstrated experience in staff management and development.
• Proven track record in proposal preparation and project estimates.
