Lead Software Engineer (React / Node.js)

What’s the job?

As our Lead Engineer, you'll be part of a small, growing legal tech startup that helps legal departments automate internal processes. With CASUS, legal departments are finally becoming business enablers, empowering their company to create contracts over 80% faster.

You will work on our existing MVP built on Node and React with a scalable foundation on Google Firestore and Google Cloud. Additionally, you will contribute to the hiring, building, and defining of our future development organization.

The founders have backgrounds in legal, marketplace startups, and product management.

• get your hands dirty, talk to customers, write code, and hire people.

You …

• are an experienced engineer with Node and/or React experience.
• have experience working in a startup or scaleup.
• have built your own apps or contributed to the architecture of complex software solutions.
• have experience with cloud-based set-ups and can contribute to setting up continuous integration (we use Google Cloud Services).
• have an inclination for new technologies and learning about infrastructure and architecture.
• speak English, German is a plus.
• are willing to travel regularly to collaborate in person (Switzerland, Serbia).
