Your mission

As our workspace at Ableton becomes increasingly distributed, it is our mission in IT to maximize the contribution every Ableton employee can make to the company mission by providing a meaningful set of software tools. Due to an increasingly dynamic SaaS market, we understand this to be one of the key challenges in our IT Unit. As part of the internal tools team, you will be responsible for helping teams across Ableton select, acquire and decommission tools while keeping an eye on a meaningful overall software portfolio. We are looking for someone with a supportive mindset, the ability to adapt and refine our processes and with some experience in collaborating with various stakeholders from IT, Finance and Legal Teams.

This position is based in Germany, if you’re not already in Germany Ableton will support your relocation. We offer the option to choose your own work model: alternate flexibly between remote and on-site in the office (in countries where an office is available), working 32 to 40 hours per week.

Your responsibilities

  • You will support teams across Ableton with selecting, acquiring and decommissioning their tools while ensuring a meaningful overall software portfolio.
  • You will consistently maintain and refine our software tool inventory.
  • You will help analyze and implement process improvements towards more effective and efficient software procurement and portfolio management.
  • You will regularly sync with our legal team as well as external vendors to manage compliance and ongoing collaborations.

Your profile

  • You have worked in a procurement or IT asset management role, including budgeting and cost controlling.
  • You are comfortable aligning and making purchase decisions.
  • You are able to self-organize and manage tasks across different teams  .
  • You have a basic understanding of the GDPR.
  • You write and speak business-level German and English.
