OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, and extensive experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and big data technologies. They will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and scalable infrastructure solutions, automating and streamlining the deployment and management of applications, and ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and implement infrastructure and deployment pipelines using AWS and Terraform
• Collaborate with developers to build and maintain scalable, highly available systems
• Monitor and optimise the performance, reliability, and security of our systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in multiple environments in a timely manner
• Collaborate to identify and implement best practices for infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate to identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
• Work on continuously improving and evolving infrastructure and deployment processes

REQUIREMENTS:

What you need to be successful:

• Demonstrable, extensive experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Familiarity with distributed systems
• Proficient in Python
• Proficient with shell scripting
• Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab CI/CD, TeamCity
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and being able to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Relentless willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and best practices in the field
• Experience with Prometheus / grafana
