Volunteering role with Women in Tech Germany chapter
The role is fully remote, however, you need to be based in Germany
Women in Tech® is an international non-profit organization on a mission to close the gender gap and to help women embrace technology. We focus on 4 primary areas that are a call for action: Education, Business, Social Inclusion, and Advocacy. The aim is to educate, equip and empower women and girls with the necessary skills and confidence to succeed in STEM career fields.
Is this you?
You are passionate about women's empowerment, Diversity, and Inclusion and the impact it has on communities.
You love being active on Social Media and engaging consistently with the community.
You are tech-savvy when it comes to consistently, creating creative posts on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
About this Role
Working alongside the German Ambassadors and team of volunteers, you will be a key member of the Women in Tech Germany chapter
As the Social Media Community Manager, you will be responsible for basic social media tasks, such as writing statuses, scheduling posts, engaging with followers, researching social media trends, and curating compelling content to share on social Women in Tech Germany media channels.
Experience required:
- Ideally you will have previous experience in managing Social Media for a businesses
- You must be Tech Savvy and creative, to be able to create engaging photo and video posts on various platforms, understanding the difference between each platform.
- Excellent communication skills and time management skills
Your commitment:
You need to be able to volunteer 3-5 hours a week on Women in Tech-related social media projects
