Core Responsibilities as a Lean Construction Specialist

As a Lean Process Engineer, you will drive our commitment to excellence and be at the forefront of process improvement, quality control, and innovation.

  • Lean Construction Training: Possess a thorough understanding of Lean Construction principles and methodologies and apply this knowledge to train teams and improve construction processes.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to construction processes to identify areas for improvement. Utilize statistical tools and software to monitor performance metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline construction processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, superintendents, foreman, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify process bottlenecks and develop actionable improvement plans.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting the use of Lean tools and techniques. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established standards. Proficiency in MS Office: Utilize Microsoft Office tools to create reports, presentations, and documentation related to process improvement initiatives. Ensure accurate and professional communication of data and findings.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on process improvement initiatives, including progress updates, results, and recommendations for further enhancements.
  • Compliance: Ensure all process improvement activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications for the Lean Construction Specialist Role

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
  • Basic knowledge of civil constructions, safety, and quality control
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Process Improvement Experience a plus
  • Compliance in wearing required safety equipment
  • Hold a valid driver’s license for local travel requirements

Here’s what we offer The base salary as a Lean Construction Specialist at Petticoat-Schmitt is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience.
