Description

• Permanent position for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for the manufacture of precision mechanical components for the automotive, aerospace, and other industries.
• Manage the manufacturing engineering team to ensure effective operation of production processes.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of manufacturing engineers, CNC programmers and technicians.
• Promote a culture of continuous process improvement.
• Oversee the design, development and optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Manage engineering processes from estimation through to project completion.
• Work with QA department to help meet and exceed quality standards.
• Implement process control and documentation.
• Work closely with production, QA and other departments to help ensure quality production objectives.

Requirements

• BS Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a manager.
• Experience in a mechanical or electromechanical components manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with CNC and CAD-CAM environment.
• Strong communications and management skills.
