Mechanical Design Engineer (70-75K)

We have an outstanding opportunity available for a Mechanical Design Engineer to perform cradle to grave OEM equipment design in the Syracuse, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Major Duties:

• Design equipment using Solidworks
• Conduct design verification utilizing FEA and fatigue analysis
• Testing of prototype equipment to validate design
• Creation of Bill of Materials
• Manage an entire product line

Education and experience:

• BSME or BSMET
• 3D modeling experience (Solidworks, Inventor, or Creo)
• 3+ years of experience
• Experience within OEM manufacturing environments: machining, welding, mechanisms, gears pulleys, motors, pumps, beams levers, bearings, and combustion products is preferred)
