Position Overview: We are currently looking for a talented Design and Development Engineer to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design, estimation, and integration of large-scale HVAC systems. Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the design, sizing, and quoting processes for complex HVAC systems, including the selection of blowers, fans, and system integration.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to optimize designs and ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Review and interpret project specifications to ensure that designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide hands-on leadership during the fabrication process to ensure the highest levels of quality and accuracy for each project.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in HVAC systems, with a focus on integrating mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Hold an EPA Universal Certification.
  • Strong leadership skills with a background in managing engineering teams and overseeing complex projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and drafting tools for designing and laying out HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards for hazardous locations (NFPA 496) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Hold certifications such as NATE Certification (North American Technician Excellence), HVAC Excellence Certification, or R-410A Certification.
  • Experience in developing and creating quotes and estimates during the bidding process for industrial or commercial projects.
