Job Title: Quality Manager

We have a full time opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager for a precision machine shop in the Fremont, CA area. We are an ISO 13485 and 9001 Certified manufacturer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Mechanical Inspectors and the CMM Programmers in a mechanical inspection lab
• Oversee all quality procedures and documentation
• Train colleagues on quality procedures and document systems
• Monitor operations and ensure adherence to quality procedures
• Identify and resolve quality issues and areas for improvement
• Continuously enhance quality systems through reviews and corrective actions

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with quality assurance or quality control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Proficiency with computerized quality management systems, CMM's and mechanical inspection tools
• Knowledge of quality principles and ability to use tools like digital calipers, mics, depth guages and other standard inspection tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
