Project Engineer

Key Responsibilites
- Assist D&C Managers in establishing project objectives and procedures
- Process schedule updates of construction projects and determine administrative requirements
- Inform supervisors promptly of any construction schedule changes, and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
- Oversee project databases and scheduling of projects
- Manage compliance with standards and specifications for quality control and assurance
- Manage portions of the full project-plan lifecycle including budgets, schedules, project updates, plans, trade partners, and track performance and completion of key goals
- Document and report project progress to stakeholder, prepare agendas and minutes for D&C manager review and then distribute
- Provide assistance over contracts and subcontracts including completing templates for contracts and change orders, assist the Contracts Coordinator with contracts for various vendors
- Coordinate efforts across entire project between Project Managers, designers, architects, and subcontractors
- Performing small projects in support of larger projects as well as tenant improvement and routine capital and renovation projects
- Create and build various tracking tools as needed
- Assist in completion of project closeout documentation and review
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education:
- High School Diploma - Required
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related - Preferred
Work Experience:
- 2+ years experience in project administration or coordination - Preferred
Skills:
- Exceptional communicator
- Organized, detail oriented
- Self-motivated
- Proficiency with typical Microsoft tools, willingness to learn others
- Skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, AIA, Monday.com, DocuSign, and more
Benefits
- Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 / year
- Eligible for discretionary benefits: performance bonus
