This position will drive continuous improvement in the 'Elevate the Consumer Experience' workstream by leading and managing processes for Enterprise business quality support functions including product evaluations, laboratory analysis, visual standards, data analysis, and other supporting processes. The individual will work on behalf of the business quality function driving standardization across processes and improvement opportunities through-out the enterprise product categories. Key areas of support include commercialization, consumer complaint improvement initiatives, enabler projects, and technical / data analysis support. Key stakeholders for the role will be field, business and enterprise quality, supply chain, marketing & sales, and R&D. This role will provide a foundational understanding of product quality, critical to quality characteristics, key data analysis tools & methodology across the enterprise product categories and is intended to be a feeder role into the manufacturing facility quality teams.


Principal Accountabilities:

1) Develop, organize & facilitate enterprise level product evaluations at the plant, category and brand level - 50%

2) Perform analytical evaluations as well as data collection, analysis, and reporting in support of commercialization, enablers, and consumer complaint intiatives - 20%

3) Standardize processes within business quality at the enterprise level to ensure consistent execution across product categories - 10%

4) Provide insight and support in the development, implementation and ongoing tracking of appropriate Quality performance KPI’s - 10%

5) Provide direction & support to plant and corporate Quality and project teams. 10% Job Complexity

  • Manage enterprise level product evaluation processes; including category & brand scheduling, evaluation set-up and facilitation, data collection & data analysis needs, and analysis and reporting of evaluation results.
  • Participate in enterprise business quality standardization efforts and lead implementation of changes within the business quality team.
  • Perform and analyze analtyical data, critical to quality attributes, product evaluation scores with an expectation to be able to report out on analysis findings, interpretation, and required actions.
  • Prepare visual standards, critical to quality reference material, commercialization data collection templates in support of manufacturing process improvements.
  • Cross-train in other QA tasks to function as back-up to business quality team members.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required


Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or Related Science preferred
  • 1+ years' experience in the food industry
  • Detail oriented
  • Foundational knowledge of statistics and data analysis concepts - experience with Minitab or other statistical software a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite products - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with urgency via prioritization and project management skills.
  • Capable of engaging other team members in development and standardization of Quality manuals, policies, procedures, and data templates, audit standards and procedures.
  • Dedicated work habits, takes initiative, sets high standards


Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $47,600-$79,800 Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
