A Senior Energy Program Manager is needed to oversee Federal projects in the DMV area with a focus on renewable energy programs. This is a non-profit organization that partners with federal agencies to make the community a better place. Senior Energy Program Manager Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in project/program management with a minimum of $20M budget.
  • Registered Professional Engineer or Certified Renewable Energy Professional preferred
  • Experience with business development, MS Project and/or Smartsheet experience
  • Experienced in engineering design, construction inspection, contract administration, project management, business development, and client service management
  • Proven experience to execute and manage complex civil engineering designs and projects for a variety of renewables (solar, wind, battery, etc.) clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field

Senior Energy Program Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all project phases ensuring timely deliverables, engineering analyses, quality assurance, report submissions, report updates directly to the client, and manage all team partners, subcontractors, and project assistants
  • Provide strategic leadership to oversee technical, operational, financial, and managerial aspects
  • Provide and complete reports and documentation through the project life cycle to the clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership
  • Propose improvements to enhance project quality, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency
  • Contribute to business development, establish key performance indicators, and leverage strategic partnerships to enhance the client relationship
  • Travel between Ashburn, VA and Washington, DC locations
