Senior HVAC Engineer
Professional Staffing Partners has an immediate need for two (2) Senior HVAC Engineers to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Project based in our client's Greenville, SC office location. This is 1 year contract assignment with 3 one year option periods offering access to full benefits and per diem for qualified candidates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct construction document reviews as required.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.
- Demonstrate design experience in the area of nuclear industry HVAC design work and design related codes and standards.
- Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
- Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
- Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
- Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
- US Citizenship is required.
