Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Electromechanical)

The Judge Group is currently seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineerwith experience 10+ years of experience 10+ years of experience with mechanical design of technical products from prototype through manufacturing.

COMPENSATION:115k to 130k plus bonus

RELOCATION:Relocation assistance provided for the right candidate

LOCATION:Lincoln, NE (This is an onsite position)

MUST HAVE: Not just design experience , but innovation experience. (Looking for Engineers that want a patent under their name)

MUST HAVE: BS, Mechanical Engineering

MUST HAVE: 10+ Mechanical Design and manufacturing

MUST HAVE: 10+ years of SolidWorks proficiency (CAD and CAE design and analysis)

Responsibilities:

• Meet with company sales people and understand their customer requests and innovate solutions to expand product capabilities and develop new products
• Research and designs mechanical and electromechanical products
• Coordinates activities from concept through design (Fabrication, Manufacturing, Application, Installation, Repair plans)
• Design mechatronic systems, machines, pressure vessels, instruments, controls, thermal, heat transfer subsystems
• Mentor other Engineers
• Organize and instruct fabrication activities, ensure products and systems meet standards
• Design interface systems for machines, hardware, and software

Requirements:

• BS, Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ Mechanical Design and manufacturing
• 10+ years of SolidWorks proficiency (CAD and CAE design and analysis)
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS preferred)
• Mechanical machine design experience (Product development and design ? prototype and manufacture)
• Advanced experience using MS suite (Access, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• US Citizen
