Responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimize, and characterize antenna solutions for next generation of consumer electronics devices with focus on sub-6GHz antennas
  • Perform EM simulations for antenna design and matching circuits and make appropriate recommendations for performance improvements
  • Characterize mockups and perform hardware optimizations as the build cycle evolves
  • Work closely with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure meeting the specs at the antenna and RF levels.
  • Drive factory proto build and debug EMI/EMC and factory issues.
  • Take the product through concept, development, compliance testing, operator testing, to mass production.


Qualifications:

  • PhD or Master's Degree in Antenna, RF, Electromagnetic, or related fields
  • Experience designing sub-6GHz antennas is a must. mmWave experience is a plus.
  • Strong in fundamentals of antennas and RF
  • Strong knowledge in wireless system from antenna and front-end perspective
  • Experience with EDA simulation tools, such as CST, HFSS and ADS
  • Hands-on experience in making mockups, soldering small SMDs
  • Hands-on experience in VNA measurement, passive and active chamber measurement
  • Experience designing radios for consumer electronic devices is a plus.
  • Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture for RF circuits is a plus.


Antenna Engineer Pay

$160,000—$210,000 USD
