Responsibilities:

This position is with Keysight’s Semiconductor Operations Solutions (SIS) organization. We are a world leader in the design and manufacture of laser interferometry systems, precision optical components, complex monolithic optics (CMOs), and advanced electronic measurement solutions. Our systems offer high precision in a wide dynamic range, the ability to simultaneously measure positions with multiple degrees of freedom, and the highest accuracy available in both air and vacuum environments.


We are seeking a candidate to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. The selected candidate will work closely with our customer and vendors to ensure our cleanrooms, vacuum chambers, and products are molecularly clean by a variety of testing methodologies. This position will have opportunities to adapt new technologies, transform start-of-art engineering designs into valuable and manufacturable products, particularly from optical assembly & test and related process development.

Cleanliness Engineer


As a Cleanliness Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a leader in cleanroom standards, cleanroom protocols, and cleanroom behavior as well as leaning processes and cleanliness in general.


Responsibilities

  • working within a cross functional and interdisciplinary Teams
  • preparation of documents and specification and/ or evaluation of manufactured and supplied products.
  • development and optimization of wet chemical and vacuum based cleaning processes
  • Continual improvement of internal cleaning systems and processes
  • close collaboration with cleaning service providers and customer
  • responsibility for individual work packages in terms of timing, performance, and costs
  • reporting of KIPs to Project Management
  • in the event of process deviations, you will support internal and external partners with root cause analysis (RCA).

Qualifications:

  • Degree in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering or similar (MSc, or PH. D preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge in the field of vacuum technology, cleanroom standards, cleanroom processes, outgassing behavior of materials, wet chemistry and/ or surface analysis (XPS, residual gas analysis (RGA), TOF-SIMS)
  • A high degree of team leadership and collaboration skills
  • Working independently and goal-oriented
  • Certification of hygiene management and cleanliness desirable
  • Clear communication ability highly desired (via presentations, meeting organizer, verbal and written)
  • Laboratory or associated experience is highly desirable.

California pay range: MIN $106,000.00 - - MAX $176,000.00/Year


Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
