CNC Manufacturing Engineer

Role

As a CNC Manufacturing Engineer (also known as Mechanical Design Engineer, CNC Programming Engineer), you'll develop and implement optimal, cost-effective CNC manufacturing processes and methods. You'll ensure quality specifications and standards are met, recommend improvements to production processes, coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products, and provide training to team members. You'll also use your proficiency in CNC Programming Applications such as Solidworks / Mastercam and your knowledge of quality, root cause analysis, corrective action, continuous improvement, lean and six sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work flexible hours and read/speak English. Spanish or Polish language skills are a plus.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use and understand ERP Systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university preferred.
  • 5+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.
  • Experience with Horizontal/Vertical CNC Machining, tooling selection & work holding strategies.
  • Hands-on knowledge with SolidWorks, Mastercam programming with at least 5 years of experience.
