Requirements for the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program in the US
- PE registered in South Carolina or eligibility for NCEES registration preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a PE with expertise in electrical design for industrial projects
- Proficiency in electrical systems including 480V 3 Phase Power, backup generators, lighting, and fire alarm systems
- Good understanding of building codes and standards (NFPA 70, NED, IBC)
- Experience in design load definition, equipment selection, and project specifications
- Ability to visit client sites and construction areas as needed
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in CAD and drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to contribute to sales and marketing efforts
