Role and Responsibilities Specific

Job Duties:

Perform all aspects of front end design flow including integration, connectivity, releases, design check reviews. Responsible for RTL coding of GPU top level blocks and creating design partitions for Physical design. Define, microarchitecture and implement GPU top level blocks. Deliver high quality design RTL to Physical Design teams. Package, qualify and deliver FE design collateral to SOC teams. Work with front-end Synthesis/STA teams to ensure timing for the block is met. Work with Frontend CAD and Flow teams to define and improve front-end design methodologies. Writing scripts using python, perl to automate regressions/flows to help verify, check RTL quality at different stages of the design. Develop and maintain methodology/ flow/ checks for GPU design. Skills and Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field. Requires completion of a graduate-level course, research project, or internship involving the following:

1. RTL design;

2. GPU architecture and microarchitecture;

3. CPU architecture and microarchitecture;

4. Applied Data structure and Algorithm;

5. VLSI Design; and

6. Engineering programming Python.


Total Rewards At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,929 and $161,929. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
