CACI is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Hardware Systems Architect to join our team developing next generation signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare systems for the Department of Defense. In this role you will be responsible for performing design and development engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems, which includes the development, enhancement, architecture, and integration of new products and/or updates to existing products.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Lead development of hardware and systems architectures for scalable software-defined SIGINT/EW systems.

  • Perform analysis of alternatives to select components and guide the overall system architecture design.

  • Have a very strong understanding of all aspects of a hardware system performing a SIGINT/EW mission; this includes the RF aperture, RF sub-systems, processor architectures, and principle of signal processing and communication.

What You'll Bring:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, and ten (10) or more years of experience developing SIGINT systems.

  • There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment you will be required to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

  • RF propagation

  • RF front-end conditioning design and component selection

  • Experience with C, C++, python, MATLAB, MS Visio

  • Experience developing software-defined radios in Linux environment

  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams to develop/implement hardware/software solutions

  • Experience/knowledge in radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF communications

  • Experience with high level system design and system engineering processes for hardware-based solutions

  • Ability to distill high level requirements into system requirements

  • Experience with system integration and design processes

  • Familiarity with system level test including environmental testing

$119,800 - $263,600
