In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.


What You’ll Do

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

  • Oversee the execution of facilities projects under the supervision of the project manager
  • Become trained to step into a design/engineering project manager role
  • Gain experience in the design of industrial structures for manufacturing, distribution, cold storage, and food process facilities
  • Assist the project manager in developing the project management plan (PMP)
  • Manage design activities from concept through completion including developing bid packages, preparing cost estimates, maintaining budgets, and handling change control, safety compliance, and design coordination
  • Facilitate construction support services; address submittals, RFIs, and change order requests
  • Review plans and specifications for compliance with client needs
  • Provide the project manager with project status updates on budget, completion, issues, and scope
  • Attend client meetings and serve as the secondary point of contact for the client
  • Prepare and issue project documentation including meeting minutes, schedules, and action item lists
  • Address project related questions and issues
  • Disseminate project changes and updates outlined by the project manager
  • Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of three years of experience in design, field engineering, or construction
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a consultants, contractors, clients, code officials, and project team members
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced design environment
  • A willingness to travel to support design, construction, and start-up activities and to attend trainings and seminars
  • A willingness to relocate to the local area (relocation assistance is available for highly qualified applicants)
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture, or a related technical degree
  • A professional engineer (PE) license or an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (preferred)

The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000-$110,00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
