Job Description:

Hydrafacial is hiring a Quality Production Engineer who will partner with Hydrafacial production lines of business to ensure we provide our customers with the highest quality and most reliable products. The Production Quality Engineer will manage all aspects of Production line tiers while driving quality and process improvement. Assess, monitor, and ensure the continued adequacy and effectiveness of the quality systems and production line.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Ensures quality throughout all end-to-end production lines of business.
  • Audit and examine products to company standards.
  • Monitors parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicates and resolves supplier-related problems as they occur.
  • Identified root causes of problems in the production process and recommended and/or implemented corrective measures.
  • Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects to mitigate and prevent recurrence of future defects
  • Determine quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes
  • Develop sampling plans for IQC, IPQC, and FQC processes.
  • Develops and prioritizes an auditing schedule to ensure that designated stations are audited regularly to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) and quality standards are met.
  • Evaluates internal functions to assess their overall performance and provide feedback in assessment of their operation.
  • Collaborates with Engineers and other cross-functional partners.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Manager.


HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical field with 2-5 years of work experience in manufacturing/production quality in medical device or regulated industry
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal customers and suppliers, and to develop and present communication plans and strategies. Must be a team player.
  • Expert knowledge of FDA 21CFR 820 and ISO13485:2016 and supply-based management techniques and best practices is preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly the organization's production processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in conducting DOEs is preferred.
  • Experience with Process Validations and/or Test Method Validations (For Example: IQ, OQ, PQ, and/or TMV)

Base Salary Range: ($80,000 - $90,000) An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of BeautyHealth’s total rewards package for our employees.
