Qualifications for the Senior Production Engineer:
- 5 years of experience in design, manufacturing or process engineering
- Understanding of lean principles, cost reduction and budgeting
- Experience in steel fabrication processes
- Previous 3D modeling and mechanical aptitude
- Strong Written and verbal communication
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities for the Senior Production Engineer:
- Plan and direct workflow
- Determine and solve manufacturing wastes for areas of improvement
- Engage and lead Kaizen Events
- Possess a strong knowledge of technology, equipment, processes and prints
- Identify and lead capital investment projects
- Must be able to adhere to deadlines and handle multiple priorities
