We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to contribute to the Women in tech Romania impact and engage our online community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

On a monthly basis, a social media manager typically performs a range of tasks to maintain and enhance the Women in tech Romania online presence. This includes:


  • Develop a monthly content calendar outlining key themes, campaigns, and relevant events aligned with the NGO's mission.
  • Produce engaging and diverse content in collaboration with the design manager, including posts, graphics, videos, and other media, to share across social media platforms.
  • Use social media management tools to schedule posts at optimal times for maximum visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, responding promptly and fostering positive interactions. Encourage user-generated content and community participation.
  • Regularly analyse social media metrics to assess the performance of previous content, campaigns, and overall engagement. Use insights to refine the strategy.
  • Implement any planned social media campaigns, fundraisers, or awareness drives outlined in the monthly strategy.
  • Act as a binder between the organisation and the community through social media channels in order to transparently share the behind the scenes information and status of  Women in tech Romania mission and actions.
  • Assess progress toward social media goals and adjust the strategy accordingly. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and relevant news within the NGO's sector to adapt strategies and content accordingly.


PROFILE REQUIRED


  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing social media strategies across various platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging online communities.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Experience in creating compelling visual content, including graphics and videos, for social media platforms.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, content, and design teams.
  • Passion for innovation and creativity, with a drive to continuously optimise social media efforts for maximum impact.
