Position Description:

Excitement and eagerness to learn and apply new technologies in the airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) mission space. Development and application of advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in applying systems engineering to solve challenging problems. In this position you will be an entry level technical contributor on complex problems within the ISR domain. The entry level position will provide opportunities to work directly with technical peers, chief engineers, systems engineering, and program managers within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Support technical proposal generation
• Requirements Development, Segmentation, Flow-Down, Verification, and Validation, inclusive of RVTM (requirements verification traceability matrix)
• Perform as a Project Engineer developing project plans and executing schedules to closure
• Work with program management, VP of engineering, chief engineers, and principal engineers to appropriately anticipate, identify and manage challenging issues, program risks, and program opportunities
• Provide detailed technical input to the project team regarding technical decisions on projects in the areas of:
• RF Requirements and Design
• Digital Signal Processing Hardware and Software Architecture Implementations
• Detailed Hardware Design and Implementation
• Detailed Software Design and Implementation
• Systems Integration and Test

Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university
• Zero (0) years to two (2) years of experience in similar position
• Proven ability to successfully operate in a highly collaborative team environment
• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced small business environment
• Possess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication
• Willingness to seek-out and assume increasing responsibilities as workload changes
• Demonstrated understanding with Signal Processing Architectures and airborne SIGINT collection systems
• Familiarity with INCOSE
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or other software languages, and MS Windows Office Tools and Products
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $110,000/year
