Responsibilities:

  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online
  • Administer, monitor and support all aspects of an Enterprise Messaging and Unified Communication infrastructure environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of routine techniques, PowerShell scripting skills, equipment, and procedures.
  • Have the ability to rapidly deploy solutions to meet customer and business needs.
  • Improve, plan capacity and design solutions using industry best practices and balance with security policies.
  • Assist in the resolution of medium to high complexity issues affecting Microsoft on-premises and cloud technologies. Areas of responsibility include Active Directory, Exchange, Skype, Windows Server, MECM, WorkspaceOne, Zoom, and Proofpoint.
  • Coordinate with support providers on problem/resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Ensure most extreme uptime for complete network services and servers.
  • Meet SLAs on desktop resolution or time network and phone system issues.
  • Establish and execute on maintenance timelines for enterprise messaging systems.
  • Identify opportunities for more efficient and effective operations through the implementation of automation and monitoring.
  • Participate in continuous improvement for current processes and procedures.
  • Contribute and maintain documentation such as administrator guides, user guides and policy documents.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Information Security teams on daily activities and special projects.
  • Evaluate and implement new technology as potential solutions to existing problems as well as business requirements.


Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years IT administration and/or IT engineering experience in Enterprise Messaging.
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016/2019.
  • Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Microsoft Windows 10, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 Administration.
  • Windows PowerShell.
  • Superior customer service.
  • Self-motivated and independent.
  • Good verbal and writing skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Certifications desired but not required in lieu of professional experience.
  • Experience in a secure environment.
  • Microsoft O365 and Exchange Online.
  • Microsoft Azure AD.
  • Microsoft Skype for Business.
  • Microsoft MECM/SCCM
  • Microsoft DNS, IIS and DHCP.
  • Zoom Meetings/Rooms/Phone.
  • Proofpoint Email Gateway.
  • WorkspaceOne AirWatch.
  • Software Packaging.
  • Mobile Device Management.
  • Endpoint Management.
  • Endpoint Security.
  • Email Security.
  • Enterprise VOIP.
  • Project Management experience a major plus.
