Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Experienced Systems Engineer.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role the candidate will conduct the following: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Must bea US Citizen: this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX  Discover Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a STEM discipline
o Course work or experience in one or more of the following: Systems Engineering, Fundamentals of Engineering, or Project Management

Desired Skills:

o Experience decomposing customer requirements
o Experience working in a System Integration Lab
o Knowledge of basic Flight Control Systems
o Experience with Hardware and Software development
o Experience with Hardware/Software integration

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
